ABVP suspends DUSU president Ankiv Baisoya over fake degree

The plea sought quashing of election results as unconstitutional, arbitrary and illegal and sought fresh polls through ballot papers.
He also claimed the EVMs were tampered with, adding that it resulted in the defeat of Congress-affiliated NSUI on three of the four DUSU posts.
In the morning colleges, polling began at 8.30 am and will end at 1 pm. In the evening colleges, polling will be held between 3.00 pm and 7.30 pm.
The scrutiny of nomination papers will be held the same day, after which the list of duly nominated candidates will be published, said the statement.
