The Delhi High Court, on Wednesday, reiterated its stand that it would allow the counting of votes only after public properties are cleared of the defacement caused by the candidates.
With the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) polls slated for September 27, candidates from different parties have intensified their campaign by going to different campuses, faculies, departments .

“The organization will not contest DUSU elections this year, rather it will focus on the Delhi Assembly elections which are due next year”, Kamal Tiwari, CYSS state President, told The Statesman.
The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), on Sunday, announced the formation of its election committee for the upcoming Delhi University Students’ Union election (DUSU) to nominate candidates and make electoral decisions.
Addressing a press conference at the university’s North campus, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP)-led DUSU president Tushar Dedha stated, “During our tenure, we not only acted as the voice of students but also fought to bring them tangible results”.
The Delhi University on Thursday announced a three-member committee to conduct the 2024-25 Delhi University Student Union (DUSU) elections.
Tushar Dedha, Aprajita, and Sachin Baisla from ABVP were elected as President, Secretary, and Joint-Secretary respectively.
