As per the January 12 order of the Railway Board, changes in the menu of all Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Duronto, and Vande Bharat trains will be implemented from January 26. After 2019, the Railways changed the catering menu of trains.
Railways has decided to phase out the premium trains and has made an ambitious roadmap to run semi-high speed trains (160-240 kmph) Vande Bharat in their place.
Now a cup of tea in the AC first of Rajdhani, Shatabdi and Duronto trains will cost Rs 35 while, in sleeper class of Duronto trains it will be Rs 15.
