DU postpones DUSU poll result to November 25 from 21

The former Delhi chief minister made the statement after inspecting a road at the North campus of the Delhi University here along with his successor Atishi, former deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, and local MLA Dilip Pandey.
The bus service was launched by DUSU President Tushar Dedha, Secretary Aprajita, Joint Secretary Sachin Baisla along with Delhi University Proctor, Professor Rajni Abbi, Deputy Proctor Dr Saurabh and other university officials.
Swayamsiddha, is an annual event organized by ABVP led DUSU to honour female students studying at Delhi University in various fields of academics, extracurricular activities, NCC, NSS and sports.
She said the Constitution written by Baba Saheb Ambedkar does not match with Manusmriti at all.
Colleges and departments will be holding orientation programmes for the fresher’s. The orientation programmes and classes will be conducted in online mode.
The last date to pay the admission fee in the first round is November 23.
Delhi University's Registrar, Vikar Gupta, said that the university is an equal opportunity provider and it does not do favouritism.
Candidates seeking admission against the first cut-off list of DU will have to make the registration fee payment while applying for their college of choice.
According to Acting DU Vice-Chancellor, P.C. Joshi, the number of seats in DU-affiliated colleges will likely be increased this year. A special cut-off list will be released in the varsity for the first time as well.
