Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana's sequel to his 2019 hit 'Dream Girl' has set an early release date. The film, which also stars Ananya Panday, will now drop a week early in theatres on June 23, 2023.
The episode created much stir on micro-blogging site, Twitter, and saw the likes of filmmaker Hansal Mehta comment on Raaj's post.
Bala is not trending like Dream Girl, but analysts are expecting the film's business to grow over the week.
Bala also has a strong supporting cast of actors like Javed Jaffrey, Saurabh Shukla, and Seema Pahwa.
On Friday, the actor shared a cute picture from the sets of his next film Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan.
The film is held up very strongly on Monday with collections of 7.25 crore nett.
Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, Dream Girl, a romantic comedy, also features Nushrat Bharucha, Abhishek Banerjee, Nidhi Bisht and Manjot Singh.
Ayushmann shines in his Pooja parts; the strength of his performance lies in his effortlessness to deliver the character and also in giving ample space to fellow actors to play out their parts.
Composed by Meet Bros and lyrics written by Kumaar, "Gat Gat" is a slow Punjabi number mixed with traditional party music and dhol beats.
Ayushmann, known for movies like AndhaDhun, Vicky Donor and Badhaai Ho, calls Dream Girl his most commercial, masala film to date.
