In a statement here, former minister Dr Daljit Singh Cheema said the farm unions were only asking the government to notify the demands which had been accepted by it in writing.
Addressing a Press conference, senior leaders Dr Daljit Singh Cheema and Maheshinder Singh Grewal said Lalpura held a Constitutional post and was supposed to protect the interest of minorities.
Dr Cheema also asked the chief minister to get active and request the Centre to release funds to the cooperative and land mortgage banks in Punjab.
The SAD leader said Chandigarh was carved out of the land of Punjab villages and Punjab sacrificed only to get its own Capital.
The SAD leader said his party requests EC to reconsider the decision on total ban on corner meetings.
