The ongoing Diwali festival season is all set to bring cheers for the trading community of the country as it is expected that there will be a fresh infusion of about Rs 2.5 lakh crore in the markets by way of shopping and sale of goods and usage of services, said the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT).
While sellers located in Delhi NCR, Mumbai Metropolitan Region, Kolkata, Chennai & Bengaluru account for nearly 35% of the total number of orders received so far, it is the sellers from smaller cities who have received a greater share of online orders this year.

The special sale will start from midnight on October 21 till 11.59 p.m. on October 25.
