Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to again take up with Russian President Vladimir Putin the early discharge of nearly 20 Indian nationals who are yet to be discharged from the Russian Army when the two leaders hold bilateral talks on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit at Kazan from October 22-23.
“Lal Krishna Advani was discharged at 2 pm today. His condition is stable,” an official of the premier institute told The Statesman.
"We have seen some inaccurate reports in the media regarding Indians with the Russian army seeking help for discharge," the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said in a statement.
With the new discharges, the total recoveries in the state rose to 1,05,599. Of the new cases, Bengaluru continued to report the highest number (1,610), taking the city's tally to 77,038, out of which 33,070 are active.
Civil Aviation minister Hardeep Singh Puri had said on Saturday that 149 people have been admitted to hospitals, 23 have been discharged, while three are critically injured in the B737 plane crash.
