Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah has come under the radar of netizens for deleting his Facebook post in which he defended and supported Diljit Dosanjh amid the ‘Sardaar Ji 3’ controversy.
“I STAND FIRMLY WITH DILJIT,” Shah wrote in all caps, leaving no room for ambiguity. “The dirty tricks deptt of Jumla Party has been awaiting a chance to attack him. They think they’ve got it at last.”
“There was no advisory, no directive, no indication of such a situation back then,” Sidhu explained. “We didn’t violate any law or sentiment at the time of filming.”
This comes after lead actor Diljit Dosanjh’s collaboration with Pakistani actress Hania Amir in the film 'Sardaar Ji 3', which has sparked significant outrage in India.
The release of the upcoming Punjabi film ‘Sardar Ji 3’, which stars Diljit Dosanjh, has been opposed as the BJP Chitrapat Kamgar Aghaadi has demanded a ban on the release of the film citing the inclusion of Pakistani artistes in the cast.
Her chemistry with Diljit is electric, full of playful banter, quick comebacks, and an underlying sense of competition that’s pure entertainment.
The trailer, which dropped on Tuesday, promises a thrilling murder mystery packed with unexpected twists, quirky characters, and high-stakes secrets.
The video captures Diljit bowing his head in reverence, offering folded-hand prayers, and participating in 'sewa', a selfless act of service practiced at the temple.
The film comes with a powerhouse cast including Diana Penty, Boman Irani, Chunky Panday, Ratna Pathak Shah, Banita Sandhu, and Sumeet Vyas.
