The senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Dilip Ghosh today visited Triveni Kumbh Mela, he was highly impressed to know that more than a lakh took holy dip on auspicious Maghi Purnima day and the state government has tried its best to hold the Triveni Kumbh mela peacefully.

Even the party-backed miscreants did not hesitate to rape women of the Opposition party. So people anywhere in India will put tough resistance to restrict their entry...BJP workers are in no way associated with any incident because we know that the TMC is the least important party in Tripura,” Ghosh said.
“Miss Banerjee must explain what are the contributions of her state government in past 10 years’ time for flood control management. Even the city and its outskirts are now submerged following a little downpour. It indicates the drainage and sewerage systems have totally collapsed,"
“Mamata Banerjee has put her opponents, journalists, officials, her own party leaders and ministers under surveillance using Pegasus,” Ghosh told reporters.
Mamata Banerjee observes July 21 as Martyrs' Day every year to remember the 13 persons who were killed at a Youth Congress rally in Kolkata in 1993. Eyeing the party's expansion, the TMC has decided to telecast Banerjee's address across West Bengal, and for the first time, also in other states like Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Punjab, Tripura and poll-bound Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.
