The state BJP also formed a three-member committee led by MP Subhash Sarkar for the protection of the party discipline. Dilip Ghosh was surrounded by the errant party workers asking him to resign after defeat in Assembly poll.
Veteran party leader of Ninghya in Jamuria, Ganesh Chandra Sarnakar alleged that the party leadership had invited him in the meeting and later misbehaved with him.
The BJP leader said that his party will learn from its mistakes and is now already gearing up for 2026 polls.
