7 elephants die at Bandhavgarh
At least seven wild elephants, from a herd of 13 jumbos, have died at the world famous Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve (BTR) in the Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh while three are critically ill and undergoing treatment.

Fiji's Permanent Secretary for Health James Fong said Tuesday that most of the deaths were between 16 to 35 years of age, and the youngest one was 6 years old.
A total 16 children were admitted to the Kalawati Saran Children hospital of which three died.
"Three trekkers are dead while 10 of them have been rescued. The dead are lying somewhere at around 15000 feet. ITBP team is reaching to the spot today to search the bodies," said ITBP.
Dr Sanjay Chakraborty, MSVP of NBMCH said, "In the paediatric department, within 24 hours, 27 children were admitted. Out of them, 10 patients were diagnosed with ARI. A total of 56 children have been admitted to the hospital."
An official of Bihar Health Department said that 830 children with viral fever visited the OPDs of different private and government hospitals across the state till Tuesday evening and 113 of them were admitted in children's wards
Chief medical officer Dr Rachna Gupta said that a team of doctors visited the village and took samples for diagnosis of malaria, dengue and Covid from the patients admitted in the hospital and their relatives
"The child has been admitted to Pyarelal Hospital for treatment. The police are taking required action," the Meerut Police tweeted.
