During a crackdown on foreigners illegally staying in the country, the Delhi Police caught and deported hundreds with the Dwarka district taking the lead.
The state government also provided the names of Rohingya refugees who were staying in the northeast division of the city. It further added that all these Rohingyas, except those below 12 years of age, have been given individual numbers by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
Giving details, the police said that the foreigners were seen roaming near Mohan Garden area of the city. A police team, patrolling in the same area, found their behaviour suspicious and asked them for their documents.
