Delhi BJP President Virendraa Sachdeva on Monday, slammed AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal for 'hindering' allotment of 50,000 flats to sanitation workers & labourers in Ghoga Bhavan Narela, despite 60% central funding.
Ahead of the assembly elections in Delhi, AAP’s National Convenor and candidate for the New Delhi assembly constituency Arvind Kejriwal, on Sunday, proposed a scheme to provide affordable homes to sanitation workers on monthly installments.
The BJP leader pointed out that Kejriwal should remember that before any private screening, he requires the court’s permission, as the court has prohibited him from making public statements or holding discussions regarding his case.
Addressing a press conference at the party’s Delhi office, Dikshit, attacking the AAP government, said that to blame stubble burning for Delhi’s air pollution on the farmers of neighbouring states was not justified.
The Aam Aadmi Party national spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar on Saturday took a swipe at the BJP's manifesto for the upcoming Delhi Assembly election, saying that it copied the schemes of the AAP government. She asked whether the manifesto had a stamp of approval from Prime Minister Narendra Modi since he criticised these kinds of welfare schemes as freebies.
"The Supreme Court had directed the Delhi government to impose a ban on firecrackers, and the Delhi government has completely failed in implementing this ban," Bidhuri said.
The environment minister reiterated his appeal to the governments of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana to deploy teams on the eastern and western peripheries to facilitate the redirection of buses and trucks onto alternative routes.
