In a hit and run case, a 64-year-old woman died while another person was critically injured near Uttam Nagar Terminal in West Delhi early Sunday.

In a written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha, Nityanand Rai said, 6,958 cases of snatching were reported during the year 2023 (till 15 November), against 7,498 cases in the corresponding period of 2022.
"The winter vacation for the academic session 2023-24 was earlier scheduled to be observed from 01.01.2024 (Monday) to 15.01.2024 (Monday)," the circular said.
