Leader of the Opposition in the MCD Raja Iqbal Singh squarely blamed the AAP for both issues.
With the water pipes running dry for weeks, Yadav claimed "people of Delhi are left at the mercy of the rain god for their water needs".
Atishi, who is on an indefinite fast demanding water from Haryana, has been accusing the Haryana government of conspiring against the people of the national capital by continuously stopping Delhi's share of water.
They also requested the Delhi LG to accompany them on a joint inspection of the status of water received from Haryana through Munak and Wazirabad barrages.
In his letter addressed to the LG, Yadav has pointed out that “despite significant water wastage, the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) and Delhi Police have not taken any action against the guilty.
The NDMC has also appealed to the people, asking them to save water and use the precious natural resource judiciously.
Delhi BJP leaders took to street demanding the resignation of Water Minister Atishi alleging that she and the tanker mafia left Delhi high and dry.
She stressed that the BJP leader, who was present at the spot, was part of the mob that vandalised the Jal Board office.
The protest was held under the leadership of Delhi Congress president Devender Yadav.
