Delhi villagers to protest against mayoral polls if house tax exemption not notified

In a letter to support the villagers, Dwarka Court bar association president, Dr N C Sharma mentioned, “In a meeting of the lawyers held in Dwarka district, the association has announced to support the of Palam-360 Khap’s decision.”
The villagers issued an ultimatum to the government to redress their grievances or face their boycott of the assembly elections due next year.
The protesting villagers, led by Palam 360 chief Surender Solanki, were later, towards the evening, detained by the police only to release later.
