The Delhi government has released about Rs 100 crore for colleges of Delhi University in the second quarter that are funded by the state government, an official statement said.
The memorandum included a demand for the implementation of a centralised hostel allocation form, which will bring transparency to the hostel allocation process.

Delhi University on Friday released DU stimulated list for undergraduate courses. Candidates who have registered themselves for the admission round can check the list through the official site of DU at du.ac.in.
In their verdict, a division bench of Justices Rohit Deo and Anil Pansare acquitted Mahesh K. Tirki, Hem Keshawdatt Mishra, Prashant Rahi, Vijay Nan Tirki and Pandur Pora Narote who died in August this year.
Meanwhile, the university has decided to extend the registration deadline for admission by two days. Now, candidates can apply for admission in Delhi University till October 12.
School of Open Learning (SOL), University of Delhi, has begun the registration process for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Candidates can submit applications on sol.du.ac.in or col.du.ac.in.
The varsity administration has also been conducting awareness webinars in order to give students an understanding of the process of admissions.
