Delhi’s air quality improves due to rainfall

Parts of Delhi and the National Capital Region witnessed rains in the afternoon even as humidity levels continued to remain high.
On Sunday, Ridge area of Delhi recorded 13.4 mm rainfall, Palam saw 7.4 mm, Ayanagar recorded 2.6 mm. Gurugram recorded 3 mm rainfall.
According to private weather forecasting agency Skymet, spells of rain and thundershower would occur in Delhi and its nearby areas.
