The Delhi Metro customers will now be able to book their bike taxi rides from Delhi Metro’s official mobile app, DMRC Momentum (Delhi Sarthi 2.0) itself without the need to juggle between multiple apps.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Friday urged the public to choose public transport to reduce congestion and air pollution in the city.
Talking to The Statesman, an official from the DMRC said: "Services were delayed on the Delhi Metro's Yellow Line due to some technical issue which was developed in the train at Rajiv Chowk metro station."
"As a result, trains are running at restricted speed in this section resulting in bunching of trains," a DMRC spokesperson said here on Monday. However, normal train services are available on the rest of the section of Yellow Line.
Both the DMRC and GSV will now work together to organise studies and research in the area of transportation and logistics.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation registered its highest passenger journeys on Tuesday (13th February 2024) with 71.09 lakh journeys being performed in the network.
According to police, a robust force of more than 2,000 personnel, including CAPF, Crime Branch staff and battalions, are keeping a vigil to maintain law and order and address any untoward incidents.
Among the highlights of the new exhibits is an interactive display showing Delhi Metro’s journey so far through years and historic photos.
This might result in long queues at some Metro stations, especially during peak hours during this period," the statement added.
