Delhi Home and Urban Development Minister Ashish Sood on Friday laid the foundation for multiple development works in Janakpuri assembly constituency, West Delhi, including the installation of new pipelines for clean drinking water, roads, sewer systems, and other civic works.
AAP MLA Vinay Mishra took over as vice chairman of the Delhi Jal Board on Monday and said he is committed to working relentlessly to address the water and sewer issues faced by Delhi residents, in line with Arvind Kejriwal’s vision for the city.
The NDMC has also appealed to the people, asking them to save water and use the precious natural resource judiciously.
The minister’s direction came during a meeting with officers of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), BSES, and Delhi Jal Board in view of preparation for the upcoming holy month of Ramzan.
