Following a PCR call received about the incident at the Welcome police station, a hunt for the missing girl was launched which ended in her rescue.
The victim, discovered in critical condition and covered in blood, was rushed to the hospital by a Navy officer passing by.
Based on the complaint from the businessman, a first information report (FIR) was filed at the Kanjhawala police station under relevant sections of the BNS.
According to the police, a PCR call was received at police station Kapashera regarding the murder of women. A team was rushed to the spot that recovered the body with stab marks from the spot.
Rs 10 lakh robbed from the victim was recovered from the accused identified as Kuldeep, Aryan, Shivam Pandey and Tirath.
The accused separated from her on the suspicion of an affair with another man.
The incident took place on August 27 when a Delhi Police constable visited the accused at his house to serve a notice under section 41.1 of the CRPC, said police.
According to the police, the arrested individual, identified as Vishnu alias Kranti, was associated with the local Nandu Gang, who fired upon a sweet shop on Friday.
A case in this regard was filed at Tilak Nagar police station under relevant sections of the BNS.
