Ahead of the 2025 assembly elections, the Delhi Congress, on Thursday, launched seven vans to travel through all the seven parliamentary constituencies in the city to seek suggestions from the public for preparing its manifesto.
The Delhi unit of Congress, on Wednesday, demanded a probe into the allotment of ration cards in the national capital pointing out that the Aam Aadmi Party government has not issued new ration cards for the last 11 years.
Congress Delhi Unit Chief Devender Yadav claimed that for the last decade, not a single card has been issued in the capital city.

Yadav pointed out that Delhi recorded over 256 dengue cases so far, nearly double the 136 cases reported during the same period in 2023 and the highest since 2020.
The party also demanded resignation of Delhi Water Minister Atishi over waterlogging and rain-related deaths due.
Yadav further said, “Despite crime rates soaring in the capital, Rs 760 crore has been cut from the allocation for the Delhi Police which was needed for the modernisation of the force to streamline its policing methods.”
The demand of the Delhi Congress president came a day after it staged protests in various parts of the city against the Arvind Kejriwal government over Power Purchase Agreement Charge (PPAC).
