New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) Vice-Chairperson and BJP leader Kuljeet Singh Chahal on Friday hit out at former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), saying that the AAP chief and his party are not speaking on the allegations of corruption.
Atishi has asked for a preliminary report to be submitted within 3 days in this regard.
Chief Minister Atishi on Tuesday announced that 150 electric Mohalla buses will be operational across the city within the next two weeks in a bid towards improving last-mile connectivity.
Speaking on the initiative, CM Atishi stated, "This decision will bring transparency and accountability to the financial operations of IGDTUW. The audit will help identify and address any irregularities or financial mismanagement."
The Congress leader further said that the party has already said that Atishi will remain on the post till the elections, which are some months away and if AAP again comes to power, Arvind Kejriwal will become CM again.
He said by choosing Atishi as their legislative party leader, the AAP has pushed the national capital into chaos.
Accompanied by other AAP leaders, including Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj, Kejriwal arrived at the Delhi LG's residence around 4:30 P.M. and submitted his resignation to LG Saxena.
Taking to social media platform X, she posted, “Today is a very sad day for Delhi. A woman is being made the Chief Minister of Delhi whose family fought a long battle to save terrorist Afzal Guru from the death penalty”.
Another name that is being strongly speculated is Kailash Gehlot.
