Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly, Vijender Gupta on Saturday accused Chief Minister Atishi of misleading the traders after she reportedly promised to revamp prominent markets in the national capital.
Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta has written to Chief Minister Atishi demanding establishment of new fitness centres to address the difficulties faced by commercial vehicle owners in obtaining fitness certificates.
Delhi Chief Minister Atishi on Monday warned slum dwellers in the city against voting for the BJP, alleging that the saffron party is distributing clothes and plans to offer money ahead of the polls. She stated that such gestures would not address their needs over the next five years.
Delhi Chief Minister Atishi on Monday sanctioned the inclusion of 3,220 new lawyers under the Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme.
Atishi lamented that an average adult is gasping for breath while children and the elderly, who are particularly vulnerable to the toxic fumes, have to depend on medical assistance.
"The main reason for the rise in Delhi's air and water pollution is BJP's cheap politics," she contented.
This is the first time in the country's history that a CM's residence has been evacuated in such a shabby manner, lamented the CMO.
The audit is expected to bring accountability and clarity to the funding and distribution of pension benefits, ensuring that pensioners receive the support they deserve, she added.
She expressed that she is looking forward to the President's support for welfare of the people in the national capital.
She further said that the government relies on the taxes paid by the people of Delhi, so it is the ruling dispensation's responsibility to work towards providing them with the best possible services.
