The train will be covering some of the prominent pilgrimage and heritage destinations of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Orissa States.
After returning from South Africa in 1915, Gandhiji was advised by Gopal Krishna Gokhale to travel across India and decide his future place to initiate his freedom movement.
Webinar took the participants to the attractions of Darjeeling, the history of Darjeeling Tea, story Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR) or Toy Train, the treks & trails, the heritage of Dak Bungalows & Charter train, the Village cultures, the Homestays.
Through these webinars, the government is also planning to create awareness about various tourist destinations of India.
