The Defence Minister said the world is changing very rapidly with economic, political, and trade relations between the countries constantly fluctuating.
The Prime Minister said his government has relied on the capabilities of Indian engineers and scientists on developing the Tejas fighter aircraft. Today the Tejas was flying gracefully in the skies. A few weeks back, an order worth Rs. 48,000 crore was placed for Tejas.
'Efforts being made to boost defence production, develop new technology and give a big role to private players in the defence sector,' PM said.
