Dean Jones played 52 Tests for Australia, amassing 3,631 runs at 46.55 with 11 centuries and 14 fifties. In 164 ODIs, Jones scored 6,068 runs at 44.61 with seven tons and 46 fifties.
Citing “personal reasons”, Suresh Raina decided to skip the IPL 2020. Another CSK cricketer, Harbhajan Singh also followed the footsteps of Raina.
Notably, Dhoni last played competitive cricket during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 post which he has refrained from any sort of cricketing action.
Jones has already ruled out the possibility of T20 World Cup to take place in Australia this year.
"Australia is in a pickle, like all other cricket boards and so they are trying to protect their own space," Jones said.
