Over the past seven and a half years, the Directorate has successfully prosecuted over 80,000 criminals, demonstrating the effectiveness of its advocacy across various state courts.
Rohit Meena, Deputy Commissioner of Police, South West said, “The team of cyber cell, South West district arrested 17 suspects following raids in seven states and resolved 148 complaints. The fraud amount is around Rs 6.9 crore.”
He emphasised the urgency of improving the law and order situation and instructed the officials to intensify their efforts to ensure the safety and security of the state's residents.
So far, 139 criminals have been arrested while seven policemen have been injured in encounters.
Dual view scanner baggage, full human body warning scanner, contactless glasses for meeting rooms and many devices equipped with new technology have been installed in five high security jails.
