People suffering from common laryngopharyngeal dysfunction like chronic cough, hoarseness, recurrent throat clearing, especially after Covid, may be at significant risk of developing a heart attack or stroke, warns a study on Wednesday.

The Covid-19 tally rose to 13,27,150, a bulletin issued by the Health Department said.
As per the data shared by the ministry, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.62% with 9206 patients having recovered in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative tally of recovered patients to 4,38,02,993.
With this, India’s active caseload now stands at 86,591 with active cases now constituting 0.19% of the country’s total positive cases.
In the last 24 hours, India reported 9,520 fresh Covid cases and 41 deaths, the Union Health Ministry said on Saturday. The overall nationwide death toll now stands at 5,27,597. The active caseload has dipped to 87,311, accounting for 0.20 per cent of the country's total positive cases.
