A total of 18,63,623 vaccine doses were given on Monday, taking the total vaccinations in the country to 3,17,71,661 on the 59th day of the nationwide Covid-19 vaccination, as per the provisional report shared by the ministry.
So far, one MBBS student has died whereas six medical students have been left infected after taking the first dose of vaccine in the state.
Secretary Health Amitabh Awasthi detailed about the ongoing COVID-19 vaccination drive in the state. Mission Director National Health Mission Nipun Jindal informed that 3,67,500 doses of Covishield vaccine has been received in the state in three lots.
