Odisha has achieved a milestone in the inoculation drive against COVID-19 as over one core people in the state have so far received both doses of the vaccines.
Odisha reached the one crore vaccination mark on June 21 while the inoculators took another 58 days to vaccinate one crore more people. In the next 24 days, 50 lakh people were vaccinated as inoculation has gained pace in the past one month.
The State has reported a minuscule ratio of people testing COVID-19 positive after administration of vaccine doses. Odisha now has 50,19,259 fully vaccinated people. Over 2.1 crore people have so far received the COVID vaccine. Of them, over 50 lakh are fully vaccinated.
