A total of 198 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the country during the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said on Thursday.
Of the new cases, 48 were reported from Karnataka, 40 from Maharashtra and 19 from West Bengal.
The total recovery stood at 4,44,87,992. The active cases in the country stands at 2,041.
As many as 605 new Covid cases were reported in the country during the past 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said on Wednesday.
As per the data shared by the ministry, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.73% with 5096 patients having recovered in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative tally of recovered patients to 4,40,19,095.
