The State's health authorities have so far administered 4,30,55,912 (4.30 crore) COVID-19 vaccine doses while 1,53,55,276 (1.53 crore) people out of 3.09 crore eligible adult population are fully vaccinated. Over 50% of the eligible population has so far received both doses of vaccine.
Cumulatively, more than 2.5 crore doses have so far been administered till Friday noon hours.
The State’s share is 3.04% in the country’s confirmed virus caseload while the active cases are 6.07% of India’s total active cases.
The State’s recovery rate currently stands at 96.20% while the active cases account for 3.27% of total positive cases registered in the State.
Khordha district, which included the capital Bhubaneswar, reported the highest 549 cases in the last 24 hours, followed by Cuttack (422), Balasore (237), Jajpur (218), Mayurbhanj (165), Bhadrak (163), Puri (132), Jagatsinghpur (119).
Odisha currently has 62,515 active cases, which account for 7.37% of total positive cases registered in the State.
87 per cent positive cases in HP had travel history, eleven cases were contacts, while history of three per cent is not known.
