In a stringent move to curb the sale of counterfeit Kashmiri handicrafts to tourists, the Handicrafts and Handloom Department on Monday issued a stern warning to showroom owners in the Kashmir Valley.
Many remedies are available to tackle the problem of counterfeit goods.
The racket was busted on the basis of an intelligence feedback. The entire sum of fake notes was seized from the Jana Seva Kendra. Both the accused persons were graduates and were computer savvy.
