Strict action will be taken against the seller as per the rules in case of sale of any drug as a medicine to treat the coronavirus infection, the minister added.
On Tuesday, Ramdev launched Patanjali's Coronil tablet, which he claims is a cure for COVID-19. Patanjali claims those administered the medicine were fully cured and none died.
'Clinical control trials were carried out adhering to standardized protocols of drug discovery to evaluate its efficacy,' Patanjali said.
