According to the ministry, Karnataka reported 61 cases, followed by Maharashtra 35 and Kerala 25 cases.

Odisha logged two fresh cases of COVID-19 infections, taking the coronavirus tally to five in the current month, health authorities informed on Wednesday.
The five most affected states are Maharashtra (3,173,261), Kerala (1,144,594), Karnataka (1,033,560), Andhra Pradesh (910,943), and Tamil Nadu (907,124).
On Wednesday, the number of active Covid-19 cases in the state stood at 27,743 and the number of persons who tested positive was 3,986.
Usually, practical exams are conducted in January and written exams begin in February and conclude in March. However, the exams were delayed and are scheduled to be held in May-June in view of the pandemic.
The Minister pointed out that today, Maharashtra not only has the highest cases and deaths in the country but also has one of the highest test positivity rates in the world.
The ban will start from Sunday and will remain in place until April 28, New Zealand Herald reported.
