Jain said, “Delhi has seen a sharp rise in Covid-19 cases in the past few days. Many more cases have come. Today it is going to be nearly 14,000. But Delhi is in a comfortable position in terms of hospital bed occupancy.”
With the addition of the new fatalities, the nationwide death toll has climbed to 4,73,537.
The Delhi government is fully prepared to prevent the spread of dengue. Full preparations for the treatment of dengue have already been made in all the hospitals of Delhi.

The country’s total tally of Covid-19 cases stands at 1,26,86,049, of which 7,88,223 are active Covid-19 cases which compromise of 6.21 per cent of the total infections.
An official statement by the Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) read, “District Disaster Management Authorities shall conduct random COVID-19 testing of passengers coming from the states where the cases are increasing.”
India recorded 56,211 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, 17 per cent lower than the day before, taking the total tally to 1,20,95,855 on Tuesday. Lower count of cases is a result of low testing.
