Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his statements about the Constitution of India, at Chimur in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra, where he addressed an election rally on Saturday.
He said that he can guarantee that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has never read the Constitution.
He attributed this failure to the "wall of Article 370" in Jammu and Kashmir, declaring that "Article 370 has been buried forever."

The Supreme Court said on Monday that secularism has always been held to be part of the basic structure of the constitution and the words ‘secular’ and ‘socialist’ on the preamble of the constitution should not be seen through Western lenses.
Rahul Gandhi was campaigning for Congress candidate from the North East Delhi Lok Sabha seat Kanhaiya Kumar.
Referring to demonetization and GST, he claimed businesses were shut at a large scale because of it.
In a video message, the CPP chairperson said, “The sight of our Constitution and democracy being under threat, our poor being left behind, and the fact that the fabric of our society is being torn apart fills me with anguish.”
Kharge said even though BJP leaders are saying 'Abki Baar 400 Paar' (this time, above 400 seats) that won’t materialise, the people of India will teach Prime Minister Narendra Modi a lesson in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
Addressing a massive election rally in Gaya, Bihar, he said the Congress had used the Constitution as a political weapon in the last 25 to 30 years.
