BJP with 5 seats proves supremacy in Raj by-polls

The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) has proved it's supremacy in the November 13 by - polls winning five of the seven Rajasthan assembly seats, leaving one each for the traditional rivals Congress and the emerging political force Bharatiya Aadiwasi Party (BAP).

Following the electoral debacle of Congress in Assembly elections BRS working president KT Rama Rao slammed the party for its inability to stand up against the BJP and claimed that the regional parties continue to be the future of India.

"There will be no demands from Jagadish Shettar, we do not offer anything. He (Jagadish Shettar) will have to agree with the principles and the leadership of the party. We want to keep the country united and only Congress can do that," Karnataka Congress president DK Shivakumar told reporters.
