The Congress leader said he is not interested in participating in the CWC election and it is “for others to step forward”.
The leaders formally wrote to the party's Central Election Authority Chairman Madhusudan Mistry asking him to make electoral rolls public.
The CWC requested the Congress President to lead from the front, address the organisational weaknesses, effect necessary and comprehensive organisational changes in order to take on the political challenges.
The G23 leaders in the meeting on Friday discussed the issue that there should be no more delay in electing the new president of the party and an AICC session should be called in to discuss the poll debacle, sources said.
