The Congress and the Samajwadi Party have resolved their differences over seat sharing in Madhya Pradesh Assembly polls amicably.
"If the foundation stone-laying ceremony was done by an untouchable, they would have to wash the building with Gangajal (Ganga water). This is an insult to the President," the Congress president alleged.

His remarks came ahead of the Prime Minister distributing more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits in government departments under Rozgar Mela.
The party had earlier considered a proposal for three working presidents, one each from the north, south and eastern India, and perhaps a fourth from western India.
He, however, insisted that Rahul Gandhi should continue as the Congress President. "The party could consider appointing a series of regional working presidents to assist him," the former Union Minister said.
The Congress president's offer of resignation came after a miserable show of the grand old party in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections.
Gandhi won from Wayanad but lost the family’s traditional bastion Amethi to BJP leader Smriti Irani by a margin of over 55,000 votes. The Congress won only 52 seats in Lok Sabha.
At a press conference in New Delhi, the 48-year-old Congress chief accepted the people’s verdict.
