Reacting to the outcome to the seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi, the DPCC chief said, “The party accepts the verdict of the people.”
Reddy was addressing a meeting of the Congress social media team and took digs at both the BJP and the BRS.
It may be mentioned here that 10 BJP candidates in the 60-member assembly house were elected unopposed.
In response to questions on seat-sharing with the SP, he said, “It is in the final stage. Anytime it can be finalized. The discussion is going on.”
The committee will be headed by senior party leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury as chairman, as per a communiqué issued by Congress general secretary in-charge of organization KC Venugopal on Monday.
The former MP joined the BJP in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh at the party headquarters here.
Notably, the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra-led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, which kicked off from Manipur’s Imphal on January 14, is currently in Assam, after it traversed through Nagaland.
Former Union ministers P Chidambaram and Mani Shankar Aiyar will be members in the panel.
