India’s exports of goods & services post 9.7 per cent rise in January

Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade ( DPIIT) Secretary Arurag Jain has already interacted with various stakeholders to prepare a roadmap to reduce compliance burden and to carry forward the next phase of reforms, said a senior officer of the Commerce and Industry Ministry.
The NEIDS Scheme was formulated on the basis of suggestions received from State Governments, Industrial Associations, and other stakeholders. The Scheme covers both manufacturing and service sectors.
The minister also mentioned how the government has increased the FDI limit in insurance from 49 per cent to 74 per cent in the Budget 2021-22.
