CM declares ‘The Sabarmati Report’ tax-free in Uttar Pradesh

The mega campaign, running until November 25, 2024, invites participation from the general public, public representatives, and officers to vote for their favorite tourist destination in the state.
Addressing a public meeting on Saturday, CM Yogi appealed to the people to cast their votes in favour of BJP candidate Surendra Diler from Khair. He also expressed grief over the death of children in a fire incident in Jhansi.
The Chief Minister made this statement while inaugurating the double-decker electric bus service at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, ahead of the Aakanksha Haat program.
Organised in collaboration with the National Book Trust and the Lucknow Development Authority, the festival will run from November 9 to 17.
He inaugurated 1,100 Annapurna Bhawans and launched Electronic Weighing Scale-linked e-POS machines at 79,000 fair price shops across the state on the occasion.
Until 2017, only 288 fire stations were established in the state, while in the last 7 years, 71 new fire stations have been set up. Today, we are moving ahead to become the first state in the country to have fire stations at the tehsil level.
Inaugurating and laying the foundation of 144 infrastructural development projects worth Rs 2310 crore for the Uttar Pradesh Police at a formal ceremony at Lok Bhawan on Wednesday, the CM stressed on the crucial role of UP Police in the changed perception of the state.
The warning came after the announcement of the scrapping of the exam by the Uttar Pradesh government on Saturday.
