Following this, supervisor Akhilesh Singh Chauhan 's wife Sheela and son Suraj expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister at his official residence on Friday. The Chief Minister assured Akhilesh's family of all possible support.
The sanctioned amount will be used for purchasing semi-automatic pistols, sub machine guns, assault rifles and other weapons and equipment for UP SSF, officials here on Monday said.
The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 411 development projects worth Rs 1,090 crore on the occasion. Additionally, CM Yogi participated in the closing ceremony of the Virat Kisan Mela and Agricultural Exhibition. He also distributed certificates and selection letters to beneficiaries of various government schemes.
The CM further said that people here are the beneficiaries of housing, tablets, appointment letters, and other development schemes, among others. Had there been no double-engine government in the state, 56 lakh poor people in UP would not have been able to get houses, he asserted.
