Bommai, who is contesting from Shiggaon assembly constituency offered prayers at a Hanuman temple in Hubbali as voting continues in State.
Bommai said on the one hand the BJP is seeking votes based on patriotism and the country's security but on the other hand, the Congress Party has joined hands with anti-nationals to divide the nation.
Bommai said that this is the reason BJP is thinking well and talking in detail before releasing the first list of candidates for the Karnataka Assembly Elections.
The Election Commission of India will announce the schedule for the elections today at 11.30 am in the national capital.
Karnataka is expected to go to the polls in May this year to elect representatives from 224 assembly seats.
Union Ministers Shobha Karandlaje and Bhagvanta Kubha will be the convener and co-convenor of the election management committee respectively
"The 130 crore population of the country is aware of Modi's personality. Nothing will happen with such statements. Similar bad words were used against him during the Gujarat polls, but how much more talk, they will win with a big majority?" CM Bommai said while addressing the media
Shah said: "No one can occupy even an inch of India's land as he knows that the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel are guarding the frontiers."
Karnataka CM Bommai on that day later hit out at Maharashtra's Opposition leaders, claiming that they had 'lost their mental balance'.
Maharashtra ministers Chandrakant Patil and Shambhuraj Desai, who were scheduled to visit Belagavi on December 3, have postponed their visit to December 6.
