In a sharp attack on the Congress, the SP and the BSP, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath remarked on Wednesday that the previous governments had fostered mafia and dacoits in the Bundelkhand region.
The chief minister said Muzaffarnagar today is being recognized because of its organic jaggery. "The sweetness of our jaggery resonates not only across the state but also nationwide and globally," he said.
Addressing the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, the Chief Minister said this Yatra started simultaneously across the entire country on November 15.
Drawing attention to the successful eradication of encephalitis in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, the Chief Minister stated that due to inter-departmental coordination, we were able to control the disease within four years, which claimed the lives of 50,000 children in 40 years.
Over 4,000 seers and 2,500 eminent personalities from across the country have been invited for the grand event.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister conducted a review of the ongoing projects and developmental works under Naimisharanya Dham Teerth Vikas Parishad in collaboration with officials.
Acting on the FIR, the accused was arrested, a senior police official said.
