August 2 (ANI): Delhi Government has issued instructions to all concerned departments to ban the use of Chinese Manjha. Environment Minister Gopal Rai has appealed to the people not to use Chinese Manjha.
During the drive, a total of 13 Charkhi Chinese manjha have been recovered from the possession of the arrested persons.
After getting hit by the Chinese Manjha, the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital in an injured condition, where doctors declared him dead.
The victim on his way to Loni to visit his in-laws for Rakshabandhan got stuck by the manjha at the Shastri Park's flyover which slit his neck badly. He was rushed to the Trauma Center in Civil Lines with the help of bystanders where he succumbed to his injuries.
However, Court refused to pass any direction to ban kite flying while hearing public interest litigation, which sought a total ban of kite flying.
Appearing for Delhi Police, Advocate Sanjay Lao sought time to take fresh status in this regard.
