The ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Saturday dropped six sitting MLAs including two former ministers from the fresh list of candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections in Odisha.
The CM further added that this is the first integrated Consumer Goods Manufacturing and Logistics facility in Odisha, and it spans an area of 35 acres.
In 2017-18, the concept of SDCs was introduced and set up in nine districts involving 64 lakh tribals.
Discussions with PM Modi centered around development projects in Odisha and it had nothing to do with politics, said CM Naveen Patnaik.

To meet the additional requirement, 24,270 tonnes of rice will be supplied from the State pool with an expenditure of Rs. 91.70 crore from the State’s own fund.
The state government has substantially increased its funding for sports. The state had allocated nearly Rs 100 crore in its annual budget for 2016/17, which was increased to Rs 301 crore in 2020/21. This year (2021/22), Rs 400 crore has been allocated to sports.
The newly carved out villages numbering around 4,000 will now get the benefits of various government grants and schemes.
